Journey from Mediterranean shores to Saharan dunes.
Medinas, Ruins & Oases
After the twisting alleyways of Tunis old town, the ruins of ancient Carthage and the world famous Bardo museum you go south. Travelling via Kairouan – one of Islam’s holiest cities – and the remote Roman ruins at Sbeitla, you reach palm-filled mountain oases and the old trading station of Tozeur. The scenery becomes surreal as you head towards the Sahara across vast salt flats.
Sahara, Star Wars & Sousse
Trek by camel to spend a night under the desert stars and watch the dunes change colour with the dawn. After a soak in hot springs there is the chance to stay in a troglodyte dwelling – made famous by Star Wars.
